What will the weather be like this week in Vancouver?

Cloudy but little rain expected.

A year after a weeks-long drought and infamous dome of heat that hit Vancouver, a repeat does not seem in the cards.

According to Environment Canada, the area around Metro Vancouver will be cloudy for most of early July, although not much precipitation will fall.

It will rain on Sunday and Monday, with clouds and showers over the city at the moment. Environment Canada’s weather forecast shows periods of rain through Sunday, turning into showers overnight and Monday, with a maximum of 17°C on both days.

Tuesday, July 5 will see a brief return to the sun with a maximum of 22 C and clear skies into the night, but Wednesday will see clouds move into the area.

The rest of the week is expected to be gray but stable, with highs in the low 20s, minimums around 15C and cloudy skies over the weekend.
