accident has officially confirmed when the missing episode will air, following a BBC review.

As we previously reported, this Saturday’s edition, titled “Wednesday’s Child,” was postponed several days before airing earlier this week.

The 80-minute special, focusing on Ollie Hide’s shocking storyline, was originally intended to be broadcast on Saturday 11 June, but is now airing a week later than originally scheduled on Saturday June 18


The update comes just a week after the BBC announced that the episode was being reviewed, saying in a statement: digital spy: “In light of recent tragic news events, we review the episode of accident broadcast on 11 June on BBC One.”

The BBC statement referred to the devastating shooting that recently took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, in which 21 people, including 19 children, were killed and 18 others injured.

Before being removed, the BBC’s original synopsis for the episode read: “David has to come to terms with Ollie’s involvement in a school shooting, and a patient from Paul’s past forces him to be honest with Robyn.”

Another episode called ‘By Any Means’ focuses on the story of Paige and Rash, now airs tomorrow night (June 11) instead.

The synopsis for this episode reads: “Rash (Neet Mohan) helps a father reconnect with his disgruntled teenager as he struggles to do the right thing for Paige (Shalisha James-Davis). Meanwhile, Robyn (Amanda Henderson) comes to forward to Marty (Shaheen Jafargholi) and Adi (Raj Bajaj) with their surrogacy.”

Viewers know that Ollie has been the subject of school bullying lately, and his behavior is of growing concern.

The last time we saw him, Ollie was acting strangely and had seemingly made a sinister plan with his high school friend Rob.
