Urban Village Group unveils plans for £69m SPS scheme

Urban Village Group has unveiled plans to convert a former office building into a £69 million BTR 237 unit development project in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

The Westminster House project involves the conversion of the former AGF House into 237 apartments over six floors, along with amenities including a gym, cinema, communal entertainment facilities and work areas.

The plan also provides for secure parking spaces for residents and CCTV.

Westminster House will be located close to Milton Keynes Central overground train station, which will provide direct transport to London Euston.

Proposals have been submitted to Milton Keynes Council for the development – once approved, construction is expected to start early next year.

Nick Sellman, CEO of Urban Village Group, said: “There is strong and growing demand for private rental housing and our development at Westminster House will help meet the growing demand in the Milton Keynes area.

“While the nationwide housing shortage continues, there is a lot of room for major growth in the SPS sector.”

Graham Haydon-White, Development Director at Urban Village Group, added: “We are looking forward to creating an exciting new development of high-quality housing in the heart of Milton Keynes town centre.

“We are going to transform an empty and unloved office building into a place where people like to come home, with all shopping and leisure facilities on the doorstep.”
