‘This is what living with Covid looks like,’ says Scotland’s national clinical director – Channel 4 News

According to the latest data from the Office of National Statistics, the number of Covid infections in the UK has risen by more than 30 percent in a week.

It is the highest number of infections in the UK since late April and is due to an increase in two sub-variants of Omicron, officials say.

We spoke to Professor Jason Leith, Scotland’s National Clinical Director for Healthcare Quality and Strategy.
