There will be a free Katy Perry themed drag picnic coming to Toronto and there will be so many treats

Calling all “California Girls” in Toronto because a “nice, fresh, bright” and free drag picnic is coming to town later this month.

SkipTheDishes is bringing this event to Toronto to celebrate Pride, National Picnic Day and their partnership with Katy Perry for fans across the city.

On June 18, the company will host the Katy-inspired picnic at 164 Bathurst Street in Toronto and will have three available time slots, each approximately 90 minutes long.*

Anyone interested should check availability on OpenTable as the event is first come, first served and only open at 11am, 1pm and 3pm

Keep in mind that the time slots open at 10am on June 10, so get your memories ready!

Pride and Katy Perry just make sense, so Skip, along with the help of local favorites, will give people the treats they deserve. Craig’s Cookies will offer the “Katy Perry-inspired Black Cherry Pie” cookie flavor, and Cafe Neon will bring the other picnic classics like pastries, juices and more.

Oh, and there’s more! According to the company, there will be live performances by “iconic Canadian drag queens,” the company said. Picnic-goers can see Xtacy Love, International Pageant Winner, Mother of Priyanka, and more.

Skip & Katy Perry | Did someone say?

In May, SkipTheDishes and the star released a video under their “Did Somebody Say” campaign, similar to Snoop Dogg’s from a while back. However, this one is more colorful, full of delicious food and outrageous outfits. Honestly, how could you expect anything but Katy in a hat with a giant piece of cheese on it?

“A little sushi while I’m watching a movie, papaya salad while I’m singing a ballad, need an ice cream to make it a whirl, I gotta treat the California girl,” she sings.

“Enjoy my meal, Katy Perry,” the star concludes.
