The mystery of an image of a “gateway” carved on the planet Mars, published by NASA, is causing a stir

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The American Space and Navigation Agency, or what is known as “NASA,” has caused a stir on social media among activists after publishing a photo from the surface of Mars of what activists described as a “carved portal”.

NASA explained that the image it published on its official website was taken on May 7 by the Curtis robotic camera on Mars.

It is reported that NASA has previously announced that it is seeking healthy, enthusiastic, non-smoking U.S. citizens between the ages of 30 and 55, different from regular astronaut candidates, to be recruited for a one-year Mars simulation mission.

But this is not a real mission in space, but it will be a whole year in a unit of more than 500 square meters and examining the health and performance monitoring of the crew of 4 people.

Participants will conduct science experiments, practice communication with “Earth” and even simulate spacewalks, as NASA hopes it will prepare lessons for real-world challenges of future missions to Mars.
