A magical event! Haley Ferguson is no longer single after she tied the knot with hockey player Oula prayer†
“I am most looking forward to marrying the man of my dreams of course, but also to the first dance and father/daughter dance,” says the Bachelor in Paradise alum, 29, exclusively told We Weekly for her wedding on Saturday 11 June. “We have a choreographed dance and then my dad agreed to do a mashup dance where we could show our personality a little bit!”
The Blushing Bride — first appeared on Ben Higgins‘ season of The Bachelor in 2016 next to twins Emily Ferguson — marrying the hockey player, 30, on Saturday at Resorts World Las Vegas.
“We looked at about three other locations before choosing Resorts World and since Resorts World is newer, the location we chose here in Vegas is no exaggeration,” she said. U.S about choosing their dream location. “I actually wanted to be able to create something with Resorts World that Vegas hasn’t seen yet! And I just felt good vibes from the wedding team – they were so amazing!”
Emily, also 29, stood next to her sister as a bridesmaid, which Haley called a “no-brainer” decision.
“This is the moment we’ve been dreaming of since we were little girls! It’s such an honor to have her by my side,” Haley gushed to… U.S. “She has helped me so much that I’m pretty sure nothing would have been accomplished without her. I’m very picky to the point where I can’t make decisions about things and she kind of flattened me to the ground and helped me make really tough decisions when it comes to planning.”
Next to Emily – who got engaged to hockey player William Karlsson in December 2020 — Haley and the Finnish native were joined by 75 guests, including Bachelor Nation alums Amanda Stanton and Lauren Bushnell Lane†
“It’s so wonderful to have Amanda and Lauren here for my wedding day,” Haley said. “I know they will both have to travel to make it, so it means a lot to me that they are there for this special day. I’ve always stayed close to Lauren and Amanda after the show. They were my best friends during the filming and I enjoyed watching both of their love stories.”
For her part, Stanton, 32, announced her engagement to Michael Fogel in December 2021, while Bushnell Lane, 32, married country singer Chris Lane in October 2019. The couple, who share 12-month-old son Dutton, announced earlier this month that they are expecting their second child. In addition to Stanton and Bushnell Lane, Haley and her now husband were surrounded on Saturday by their loved ones, who were surprised by the decor and special appearance.
The newlyweds arranged for an Elvis Presley impersonator to perform for their guests “because it’s Vegas and it should be,” while they all nibbled on McDonald’s snacks late at night.
The podcast cohost of “Twinning at Life” announced earlier in May 2021 that Palve had asked the question.
“We had been talking since October 2019 and then I flew to New York to spend Christmas with him and I knew he was the type of guy you would marry,” Haley said. While the pair were planning their dreamy wedding, Haley celebrated both her bachelorette party and bridal shower with her twin sister. however, the Gemini: happily ever after alums refused to give a double wedding.
“We thought about it for a while, but mostly we laughed at the idea,” Haley joked U.S in June, just before her big day. “That’s why we decided to combine everything else…but for the wedding, we both wanted to have that special moment to ourselves!”
Leading up to the romantic ceremony, Palve, for his part, felt “good” about finally becoming Mr. and Mrs.
“I was a little anxious leading up to the wedding and he said he’s only stressed out for me because he wants it to be everything I’ve dreamed of,” Haley said, pointing out that she plans on taking his last name. to take as soon as they’ are legally married. “So he has been my support throughout the planning! He is so excited to call me his wife and wear a wedding ring!”
She continued: “[Me,] I feel good, definitely overwhelmed by a lot of different emotions, but generally excited. I’ve had all the feelings lately as we’ve been planning for a year and it’s all about to happen! Lots of anticipation leading up to the big day, so I’m trying to step back and take it all in! I can’t wait to be Mrs. Palve.”
