(CBS DETROIT) — When it comes to finding a job after graduation, the state of Michigan is in the top 10 employers, according to a new list.
In May, Forbes magazine published its 2022 list of “America’s Best Employers for New Grads,” placing the state of Michigan in eighth out of 300 recognized organizations.

Forbes says it based its rankings on a survey of 20,000 young professionals who work for companies with at least 1,000 employees.
“I am proud that the state of Michigan has been recognized as a top ten organization for recent graduates to bring in their talents, develop new skills and begin their careers,” Governor Gretchen Whitmer said in a statement. †By introducing paid parental leave, increasing workplace protections, and increasing transparency, my administration has striven to ensure our state’s nearly 50,000 workforce is empowered to thrive and empower the people of Michigan. serve the highest level. Indeed, it ranks first, followed by Mayo Clinic, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and NASA.
