Created by artist Arthur Gain and shared on Twitter, the oil painting is a colorful, detailed portrait of the iconic Star Wars character, C-3PO. While a release date for A Droid Story hasn’t been announced yet, other upcoming animation projects from Lucasfilm include: Star Wars: Tales of the JediStar Wars: Visions and a second season of The Bad Party† Announced by Lucasfilm during Star Wars Celebration 2022, Stories of the Jedi will consist of six animated shorts, with each story focusing on a prequel-era Jedi. The second season of Visions is reportedly in development and expected to be released sometime in 2022.
