A stunning four-storey house in Brighton with a massive garage, cinema, lift and 350-bottle wine cellar are just some of the many schmick features that helped bring it to a huge sale price.
A swanky four-storey Brighton townhouse with a three-storey spiral staircase, nine-car garage, cinema, tennis court, lift and Ralph Lauren wallpaper has become one of the most expensive homes in the area.
The sale price for Wilson St 86-88 was not disclosed, but the stately home was listed with an asking price of $14.5 million – $15.5 million through an expression of interest procedure.
Industry sources indicate that the house, which also has a wine cellar that can store 350 bottles, a gym and games room with a wet bar, will sell in demand.

Belle Property Brighton director Sam Inan declined to comment on the price but said there was “astonishing interest” in the property which was built just three to four years ago.
“It is a rarity due to its luxurious modern construction with a swimming pool, tennis court, gymnasium and separate games room and cinema,” said Mr Inan.
“Everyone who almost made it through did a double take.
“Most of the interest in the property came from growing and multi-generational families.”
Mr Inan said the property “provided very, very good entertainment”.
