The Queen was right when she made the decision to prevent Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children from appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on June 2, a poll shows.
The survey, conducted by Techne UK on a sample size of 1,626 British adults between 11 and 12 May, found that 80 per cent of those surveyed answered ‘yes’ to the question “Does the Queen have the right to Harry and Meghan and their children? from the Buckingham Palace balcony for its anniversary weekend?’
Only 14 percent of those polled answered ‘no’ to the question, while six percent said they didn’t know.
The majority of those surveyed across all age groups would approve of the Queen’s move.
People in the younger age group, 18 to 34, gave the highest percentage of negative answers: 19 percent answered ‘no’ to the poll’s question, against 73 percent said ‘yes’.
