Sylvester joined the conversation, stating that he thinks men are “afraid of you,” which Jayne quickly agreed with his assumption.
“They actually said to me, ‘I’m afraid of you.’ And I thought, “Why? I’m modern. I thought I was doing what women should do, which is express your opinion and say what you want,” and no.”
Despite all the potential pitfalls that can arise when it comes to dating, Jayne revealed that she’s embracing her new “downsized, simple life.”
“What I like the most is that I’ve had the chance to start all over again and be free of a 20+ year marriage and wipe almost the whole slate clean in a way, so it’s my life to rebuild,” Jayne said of her new life as a single woman.
“So in that way it opens up a lot of opportunities, but it’s scary at the same time,” the Georgia native continued, confessing at the same time, “I really don’t know what I’m doing. I’m just here to make it happen.”
