In addition, the social impact on children should not be overlooked, especially those living in economically and educationally disadvantaged situations.

It seems that everyone has been negatively affected by mental health problems in one way or another, especially during this pandemic.

Those in need of dedicated resources and specialized on-site assistance still urgently need a mental health center with their well-being in mind.

It is vital that Windsor establish a mental health emergency center for urgent situations related to mental health crises, separating them from providing their own physical care to other patients in the emergency room.

Separating emergency department patients from mental crisis patients not only allows nurses and doctors to focus on those with physical health problems, but also provides a safe space for all individuals with mental health problems, the kind of care they need. .

This initiative that I fell will benefit our city of Windsor.

Since the start of the global pandemic, people from all walks of life have suffered mentally. Being separated from family and limited interactions with the outside world are just two ways that have contributed to this decline in mental happiness.

This initiative will provide specialized and individualized mental health care. It is my hope that writing this letter will help raise awareness of the massive decline in mental health and our need to act.
