The Jan. 6 select committee public hearings examine the causes of last year’s attack on the Capitol in Washington DC.
During the investigation, questions have been raised about what role militias and other right-wing groups may have played in planning and coordinating the riots.
One of those groups are the so-called Proud Boys.
Prosecutors have described them as the main organizers of the Jan. 6 mafia and several senior members have been arrested and charged with seditious conspiracy.
We got rare access to the group’s chairman, Enrique Tarrio, in February 2021 – who insisted the Proud Boys “did not coordinate to attack the capital”.
