A day after a stabbing took place, police and paramedics were called to a Birmingham estate. Emergency services were called to Woodington Road on the Falcon Lodge estate in Sutton Coldfield, believed to be shortly before 8pm Monday (23 May).
About half a dozen police vehicles were on the scene and several officers conducted door-to-door searches. Shortly after 8.30pm BirminghamLive was on the road with a cordon on Woodington Road, between Leigh Road and Hamlet Close.
A number of residents stood in front of the door to watch as officers conducted their investigation. West Midlands Police have been contacted for comment.

The incident comes a day after a 17-year-old was stabbed at the estate in Churchill Road, yards from the end of Woodington Road. In that incident, the teen suffered chest and hand injuries and two boys, ages 15 and 14, were arrested.
The younger boy on suspicion of attempted murder and the older boy on suspicion of injury. The investigation into that incident is ongoing.
