According to the Daily starMorgan responded to a Twitter user who questioned him in a since-deleted tweet.

“I’ve interviewed thousands of people over the years, a small number of whom later turned out to be sex offenders,” he replied.

“If you could tell me which of today’s public figures are likely to be exposed to sex crimes in the future, it would help me figure out who to pose with – thanks!”

In another tweet, the presenter said he will block anyone who sends him an old photo of him with convicted felons.

“Now I’ve explained (again…) these pictures, anyone who sends them to me is going to make some silly nonsensical ‘GOTCHA!’ point is blocked,” huh tweeted

“You’ve been warned, so no tears of ‘I was drunk, Piers, please forgive me!’ begs you for mercy if you ignore this directive.”
