Photos: Family Fun at LaSalle Strawberry Festival

The first in-person LaSalle Strawberry Festival in three years came to a close on Sunday after four days of family fun.

The annual event, which was postponed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, took place at the city’s Vollmer Recreation Complex.

In addition to rides, games and sweet treats, the festival included fireworks, a parade and several live music acts.

The highlight of the festival – strawberries from Raymont’s Berries in Cottom and ice cream – were sold thanks to a partnership between the city and the Life After Fifty club.
