Ottawa Little Theater Two-Character Comedy Runs Through October 8

On a First Name Basis is about a writer with writer’s block who realizes he knows nothing about his 28-year-old domestic helper, and over the course of an evening and a few drinks tries to get to know her.

Anyone looking for some fall entertainment need look no further than the Ottawa Little Theater, which is running a new Norm Foster comedy until October 8.

The two-character play, called “On a First Name Basis”, is about a writer with writer’s block who realizes he knows nothing about his 28-year-old domestic helper, and over the course of an evening and a few drinks tries to get her to know.

Barbara Kobolak, director of the play, said: The Sam Laprade Show on September 28 that audiences love Foster’s stories, and this is the 18th play of his the theater has made.
