The Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest is being held on the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues at Nathan’s Famous restaurant in Coney Island, after having moved locations over the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The annual Fourth of July event has become a staple and has had some memorable performances over the festive holiday season.

Joey “Jaws” Chestnut, the undeniably greatest entrant in the history of this competition, broke his 2020 record with an incredible 76 hot dogs and sandwiches consumed in 10 minutes.
