My neighbor from hell terrorized us for YEARS and shredded ‘no trespassing’ signs – now she has to pay us £200,000

A NEIGHBORHOOD from hell who for years terrorized families in her bloc has to pay £200,000.

Vicki New was previously caught tearing up a “no trespassing” sign and threatening her neighbors in Twin Creeks Drive, Indianapolis.

A federal judge has now ordered her to pay after a lawsuit filed in 2020 alleged she “engaged in a pattern and practice of harassing, taunting and threatening” people based on race and national origin, WRTV reports.

The lawsuit was filed by the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana and New’s former neighbor Donata Banks.

According to the lawsuit, she harassed Banks and threw racist remarks at children at the bus stop before escalating into death threats and targeting police at her neighbors for no valid reason.

After a criminal investigation, New was charged with criminal trespass, battery and criminal mischief, but the charges were later dropped.

Under the decision, Banks will receive £123,000 in punitive and compensatory damages.

The FHCCI will receive a total of approximately £41,000 in punitive and compensatory damages and attorneys’ fees.

In addition to Kirkpatrick Management Company, the homeowners’ association is also named as defendants in the lawsuit.

As part of a separate settlement, they agreed to pay £216,000 in damages, attorneys’ fees and costs.

The Twin Creeks Homeowners Association previously said it had received complaints of harassment from more than 20 residents, including allegations that New had made racist remarks to some of her neighbors.

In 2018, she was caught on camera assaulting her neighbor with a “no trespassing” sign and charged with battery and trespassing.

The woman who was even held in the Marion County Jail until the charges were filed was caught on camera assaulting the couple.

A shocking video showed her pulling the sign from her neighbor’s yard and throwing it at them.

She then calls them racist remarks and threatens to kill them.

Miguel Rios and Luvia Roman said at the time that they had constant problems with New, describing life next to her and her husband as a “living nightmare”.

“She keeps telling us she’s going to kill us, and we’re not sure when that night will come,” Miguel said at the time.

New denied the allegations at the time and her lawyer issued a statement to RTV6, noting: “We believe this is a property lines dispute that is unfortunately overstated and my client is determined to resolve all issues with respect for everyone involved.”

According to WishTV, the community has requested that the school bus stop be moved from New’s home.
