Megyn Kelly berates Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over private jet back to US

US TV host Megyn Kelly has labeled the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a ‘fraud’ and says they will ‘never understand’ why people have turned against them.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in the UK with their two children Archie and Lilibet last weekend to celebrate the Queen’s platinum jubilee.

The royal couple attended Thanksgiving service on Friday. They were booed by the public as they descended the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The family’s trip to the UK came to an early end and returned to California on a private jet.

During the Thursday episode of GB News’ Dan Wootton tonightavailable to stream on Flash, the Sky News Australia contributor shared her thoughts on the couple’s travel choice.

The former Fox News host labeled the two “fraudsters” after previously urging the public to do more to protect the environment.

“People can’t stand them now because they realize they are some scammers,” she said on the program.

“Their environmentalism is deception, their perpetual victimization is deception, their perceived need for privacy is deception.

“And as with all fraudsters, if you spend enough time observing them, they will reveal themselves over time.

†[Meghan] has been promoting this since 2016, when she had her blog that no one was reading.”

Ms Kelly commented on what she saw as “eco-hypocrisy”.

“This is the same couple who made you and your viewers pay $50,000 for an eco-friendly boiler when they moved into Frogmore Cottage, which British taxpayers paid for,” she said.

“They made you, the British people, pay for their vegan paint for their cottage because they think you should pay for them to live in an eco-friendly way, then curl up in their private jet and create a bigger carbon footprint than the average British citizen can create hope in one’s life.

†[Harry] has said in the past, ‘Oh, we’re all compensating for it’, this is what they’re all saying about all this environmental fraud.

“What that basically means is that I paid a company enough money to plant enough trees to cover my carbon footprint.

“Most environmental groups will tell you it’s all a bunch of nonsense.

“Half of these forests don’t exist and by the way, that happened to the Vatican, so it could definitely happen to these two.”

The couple flew out of the UK on Sunday, even before the anniversary celebrations had ended.

However, sources told the New York Post this wasn’t a royal stomp – Harry and Markle had always planned to attend two events and leave.
