SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Police say a man was shot and killed by “multiple gunmen” in San Francisco’s Fillmore District Tuesday night.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday at the 1200 block of Buchanan St. on the north side of the urban greenbelt of Buchanan St. Mall, the San Francisco Police Department said.

Officers arrived on the scene and found a 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds. While medics arrived on the scene, officers began life-saving measures. The unknown victim was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries.

SFPD commander Raj Vaswani tweeted that multiple gunmen were involved. He also asked the public for information, videos and photos related to the shooting.

There was no suspicious information or word of any motive.
