A 23-year-old Ottawa man faces charges including firing a firearm and aggravated assault in connection with a shooting at Grenfell Crescent, Ottawa police said Thursday.
A woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident at approximately 3:51 p.m. on Nov. 12 on a street near the intersection of Slack and Merivale roads in Nepean.
The man was due to appear in court on Thursday on multiple charges related to firearms, police said.
Investigators from the Guns and Gangs unit want to speak to anyone who may have information about this incident or other shootings that have taken place in the city. They are asked to contact the unit at 613-236-1222, extension. 5050.
