Love Island’s Dani Dyer’s relationship with LFC ‘transfer target’ and life after the show

Dani Dyer is one of Love Island’s most famous contestants.

The 25-year-old is the eldest daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer and has appeared with her father in films such as Doghouse and Vendetta. She made her first TV appearance on the show Survival of the Fittest but rose to fame in 2018 as an islander on the popular dating show.

Dani went into the Mallorcan villa with Jack Fincham – and the fan favorites were crowned the four winners of the series. It seemed like the couple had all the right ingredients to enjoy a long relationship, but Jack confirmed that they broke up nine months later.

Dani had dated Sammy Kimmence before appearing on Love Island and the two rekindled their romance after she split from Jack. Dani gave birth to a son named Santiago in January, but the couple split after Kimmence was jailed for three and a half years for defrauding two retirees.

Dani spoke about her child’s father in October 2021 on the “Sorted with the Dyers” podcast, which she co-hosts with her father. She said: “You are never really friends with your ex-boyfriend. It’s a little different in my situation.

“Of course I will always be in a relationship with Santi’s father, it’s very different when you have children. You are connected by blood and you will always be in a relationship there. But there is still a line.”

She added: “Why would you want to be friends with an ex? You want to move on with your life. You broke up for a reason. I feel like if you broke up with someone, you just have to to leave.”

Dani has moved on with her ex and is now in a relationship with West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen. The winger was in fine form for the Hammers last season and played a key role in David Moyes’ progression to the semi-finals of the Europa League.

The 25-year-old’s electric performance won admiration on Merseyside as ECHO reported the Reds were eyeing Bowen ahead of the January transfer window. Liverpool FC have not come to an official approach and the Reds’ interest may have cooled as Jürgen Klopp’s side grows hopeful they will win the race to sign Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

Bowen was named as part of England’s newest squad, making his debut in the 1-0 defeat to Hungary. Dani regularly shares details of her happy family life with Jarrod on Instagram, sharing how much she missed the winger while he was on international duty.

She said: “I miss him so much. This is the longest we’ve been apart, but I’m so proud of him so that makes it easier”.
