Lisa Vanderpump says she contacted Dorit Kemsley’s family after a home invasion

Lisa Vanderpump defended herself on social media after her former RHOBH castmate Dorit Kemsley claimed she hadn’t heard from the star after her family’s burglary last year.

The restaurateur, 61, posted a tweet on Saturday insisting that she had indeed contacted the Kemsley family following the terrifying incident, but received no response.

“Setting the record straight… Of course I contacted PK,” she wrote, referring to Dorit’s husband Paul Kemsley.

‘And yes… na [the] unlucky not a word… from none of them… but that’s okay, I had props.”

She went on to post a text to Paul that read, “Sorry to hear what happened, glad you’re all safe.”

Vanderpump then followed up on that tweet with one reading: “Fact…I’ve been in touch…they haven’t replied.”

During a Wednesday appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Dorit claimed she hadn’t heard a “word” from Vanderpump as she recalled the events of the break-in.

Last October, three gunmen allegedly broke into the home of Kemsley’s Encino, California, while Dorit and the couple’s two children, Jagger (8) and Phoenix (6), were asleep.

Her husband Paul was in London at the time.

“I was in bed and all the lights were out. The kids and I had just flown in from London and we were all jet lagged,” Dorit told host Andy Cohen.

‘When I heard [my door] unlock, it’s a noise I hear every night, Andy. So I just thought, “Okay, it’s… [my kids coming into my room]† [The intruders] didn’t expect to be home. I had to say to them, “Take it all. I don’t care [my material possessions]† Just don’t hurt my babies.”

When Andy asked why her security system wasn’t working, Dorit explained that she didn’t have the alarm on at the time because her kids often get up in the middle of the night.

“How do you think you could stay sober?” asked Cohen.

Dorit said that one of the robbers stood behind her the whole time and held her and the other took her duvet and put all her bags and jewelry inside.

‘No not yet. I don’t believe so,” Dorit said after host Andy Cohen, 53, asked if the perpetrators had been apprehended.
