The Kardashian kids are ready to take the stage.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West North’s children, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, turned into musical greats for a Halloween photo shoot, and their proud mom shared some behind-the-scenes footage on the TikTok account that she shares with her eldest daughter Tuesday.
The kids all smiled as they posed for a photographer in a series of video clips on the @kimandnorth account, featuring North dressed as Aaliyah, Saint as Snoop Dogg, Chicago as Sade Adu and Psalm as Eazy-E.
Dressed in a miniature reproduction of the red-white-blue Tommy Hilfiger look Aaliyah wore in a 1997 campaign for the designer, North rocked a puffer jacket, bandeau top and wide belted jeans with a red leg and a blue leg, making the waistband of a pair of Tommy Hilfiger underwear.
North wore her hair long and straight for the shoot to recreate the singer’s “Are You That Somebody” look — and she’s not the only one in the family to have copied the late star’s style in recent days.
To celebrate her 42nd birthday last week, Kardashian wore the iconic Dolce & Gabbana crystal mesh bra that Aaliyah wore in her video “Try Again” in 2000.
The reality star is such a big fan of the R&B and hip-hop star’s work that she dressed as Aaliyah (in a different bedazzled bra) for Halloween 2017, with some accusing her of cultural appropriation for the costume choice.
Moving on to the boys, Saint had his hair styled in Snoop’s signature braids, wearing a gray plaid shirt, loose khaki pants and sneakers, while little brother Psalm wore the black “Compton” cap of the late rapper Eazy-E. with curls coming out from underneath, and added a baggy black windbreaker and khaki pants.
Finally, Chicago rocked a double denim look to emulate Sade, sporting the same button-up shirt and jeans look that the “No Ordinary Love” singer showcased during a photo shoot in 1980. The toddler — who also wore Sade’s braid and gold earrings — fell. even put on the star’s arms folded pose and flaunted a gold cuff bracelet just like the chart topper’s.
The family went on a Halloween outing earlier this week, with Kardashian sharing some snapshots from the “Nights of the Jack” event in Calabasas, California, on her Instagram story.
The night out came hours after the Skims founder exposed her ex-husband’s anti-Semitic comments on social media.
“I stand with the Jewish community and call on the appalling violence and hateful rhetoric against them to end immediately,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday.
