Prince Harry spoke about the Queen and his plans for the anniversary during his latest TV interview, but Kate Middleton and Prince William did not comment on the claims

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have declined to answer questions about Prince Harry’s latest TV interview.

Harry sat down for a chat with the America’s Today show and revealed details of his private meeting with the Queen during his secret visit to the UK.

Harry appeared to issue a veiled warning to those closest to the Queen when he was interviewed by an American network, saying he wanted to make sure his grandmother was “protected” and “the right people around” had.

The Duke didn’t comment on whether he was talking about royal assistants or members of his own family, but his comments likely widened his rift with his father the Prince of Wales and brother William and stunned palace officials.

Kate and William were asked about the interview during a visit to the London headquarters of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), when the organization announced that the total call amount in Ukraine had exceeded £300 million.

As the couple got into their chauffeured car, a female broadcaster shouted, “Sir, does the Queen need protection?”

The Duke and Duchess did not respond and continued inside the vehicle before being driven away.

Speaking about the “special relationship” he has with his grandmother during the interview, set up to promote the Invictus Games, Harry said: “It was great to be with her, it was so nice to see her, she’s in top form.

“She always has a great sense of humor with me and I just make sure she’s protected and has the right people around her.

In the interview, Harry also declined to answer a question about missing William and Charles, describing the US as his home “for now” and saying he had yet to decide whether to return to the UK with Meghan Markle, Archie and Lilibet. for the Jubilee in June.

Speaking of joining the rest of the royal family for the Queen’s platinum jubilee, he said: “I don’t know yet. There are a lot of things: security issues and everything else.

“So this is what I’m trying to do, to make it possible that, you know, I can get my kids to meet her.”
