Jennifer Saunders’ Daughter Freya MARRIES Her Husband Ryan Macphail… In A 1960s Black Dress

And the bride wore… black! Jennifer Saunders’ daughter Freya marries husband Ryan Macphail in a 60s midi dress inherited from her late grandmother

Jennifer Saunders’ daughter, Freya, married her husband Ryan Macphail in a black dress at their registry office wedding, which took place over the weekend.

The 31-year-old yoga instructor, whose father is actor Adrian Edmondson, inherited the 1960s Julian Rose dress from her late grandmother.

She and the artist may have tied the knot at a ceremony in London, but they’ll also be holding a pagan-themed event after Ryan proposed to her with an “elf queen ring” last spring.

She tagged her location as London Borough of Islington and the celebrity’s offspring were beaming from ear to ear in snaps she shared on Instagram on Monday.

She posed with her significant other at the top of a stone staircase and wrote in her caption: “Legal Bound,” followed by an emoji with a black heart and a bouquet of flowers.

Jennifer’s longtime collaborator Dawn French commented, “Awwww. Yes. Delicious xx.’

Jennifer and her husband Adrian have two other daughters – Ella, 36, and Beattie, 34 – and will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in 2025.

It comes after Freya’s father revealed that he has believed for much of his life that “suicidal thoughts are normal.”

The comedian told BBC radio listeners ‘I’m crazy’ as he laid out his lengthy mental health battles.

The 65-year-old told of an incident from the 1970s where he risked his life after tampering with the brakes on his motorcycle before driving away after an argument with his ex-wife.

It wasn’t until 2007 that the former Young Ones actor realized that such thoughts “are not normal” and began “to suspect that I might be crazy.”

And only then, after 22 years of marriage to his second wife, the actress Jennifer Saunders, did he tell her about his struggles.

She urged him to seek help, but he avoided further action until he was stricken with the deaths of two friends in 2011.
