Harrison was pronounced dead at 5:14 a.m. local time in North Hollywood, California, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner report obtained by We Weekly on Tuesday, June 7. According to the filing, the case has been “postponed pending further investigation”.
Harrison’s body was found Monday in a Los Angeles parking lot. After an autopsy, the coroner has requested more investigations, including additional findings, before determining the manner and cause of death, according to the report.
Jack, 62, has yet to speak out about the sudden death of his son, who he shares with ex-wife Kristina Wagner† The former General Hospital Stars, who split in 2006 after 13 years of marriage, are also parents to son Peter, 31.
The Sealed with a kiss: wedding March 6 actor, for his part, is also father to daughter Kerry, 34, from a previous relationship.
Before his death, Harrison battled an addiction that led to him going missing in 2016 after relapsed.
“I am going to ask those who want to share their fears, addictions and struggles to do so via Twitter. We can face them together, I’ll start,’ de Melrose Place alum tweeted in July 2016. “I fear for the safety of my youngest sons. Harrison struggled with drugs and alcohol, just like when I was younger. He has relapsed and is 5 days MIA.”
The Fat and the beautiful actor revealed a few days later that Harrison had reached out after the scare. “Harrisons has been in touch, he is 21 and in charge of his life, for the love and prayers please keep sharing your struggles it helps us all,” Jack shared via social media.
In recent years, Harrison spoke on Instagram about changing his life.
“Life is a roller coaster. It’s all transformation and how we grow as humans to have the strength and willingness to make a change…. And remember, whatever the past says about you or what you’ve done, there is ALWAYS room for forgiveness as long as you are willing to forgive YOURSELF,” he wrote in a photo of an open road in September 2021. “It is NEVER TOO LATE TO MAKE A CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE Let alone if you are struggling , believe me… I’ve been there. But on the other hand, we see the world through a different lens ❤️☀️.”
Harrison’s latest Instagram post, shared on May 22, was also one of hope and optimism. “Focus. YOU are left with YOU and your thoughts.” 🤔”, he captioned a photo of himself in Los Angeles.
