Brunette bombshell Rosie, 30, has revealed how much effort she put into Love Island to look her best.

Despite only being in front of the cameras for a few days, she amassed a bill worth thousands of pounds in proceedings.

She told OK! magazine: “I signed up for the show at the end of April and within 24 hours the producers were on the phone telling me they were interested in my application.

“I had to prepare myself for that opportunity, so from then on, everything I did was with Love Island in mind.”

The star admitted that she ramped up her exercise regime and went to the gym every day, as well as opting for a healthy diet.

She then turned her attention to the “beauty prep” she deemed necessary for a possible eight weeks in the villa.

“I bought a portable laser hair removal machine,” Rosie admitted of her first purchase. “I’ve used it every day in the run-up.”

Rosie also booked a visit to her local beauty clinic to get her “lip filler” – before going shopping to buy “the perfect bikini”.

After it was confirmed a few weeks before the show that she would be flown to Mallorca, she booked another round of treatments.

“I spent the time I had before getting pre-bonded hair extensions, applying semi-permanent lashes, and getting my nails done,” she explained.

“I must have spent up to £2,000 getting ready for Love Island. My hair extensions were £500, so that’s where most of the money went.”

Rosie concluded that she “regretted” spending so much money on the aesthetic work prior to the show.

In 2019, Rosie wowed her fans by dropping her makeup and revealing her natural freckles after going makeup-free.

While the star had been wearing a lot of glamorous makeup at the villa, she took a turn for the worse in her appearance after she left the show.

She also opened up about the pain over her sister’s death.

The reality beauty spoke of the pain she feels “every day” after her sibling died while in the womb.

The star, who rose to fame on the ITV2 show last summer, took to Instagram to reveal her daily grief over the loss of her twin sister.

She made the shocking revelation during a Q&A on the social media site.

She shared a poignant image of a baby with wings, alongside the caption, “Not all twins walk side by side, sometimes one has to fly.”

When asked by a fan who wrote, “Would you have twin siblings?” Rosie replied, “I was a twin myself. Sadly my mom lost my twin sister and I still think about her every day.”

During the Q and A, Rosie also gushed about her boyfriend Wayne Davies.

She said she didn’t go to Love Island for fame, but signed up for the show in search of love, adding, “I didn’t know I’d find it soon after.”

However, The Sun exclusively revealed how businessman Wayne is currently awaiting trial for causing the death of a Navy recruit through careless driving.
