One of the most patriotic holidays, the Fourth of July, is finally here. The cherished federal holiday is when we gather with our family and friends to celebrate the Declaration of Independence.

Independence Day marks America’s independence from Great Britain, commemorating the day the Second Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

Whether by hosting a cookout or attending a local parade, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the holiday.

However, since it is a federal holiday, it means that many services, such as postal services, will observe it and be closed.

Other retailers and services will also observe the holiday, including waste disposal companies.
