In the final of BGT 2022, Flintz & T4ylor make a big mistake.

Britain’s Got Talent saw one company make a big mistake in the final.

Musicians Flintz & T4ylor take the stage for their final performance, and all was well until Flintz tripped over his lyrics. Then he seemed to forget some words and at one point he put his hand to his face, but instead of giving up, he managed to carry on.

At the end of their performance, he got very emotional about his mistake and the audience gave him a standing ovation, and the judges, along with Ant and Dec, all gathered to make the duo feel a little better.

Alesha Dixon — who had picked the pair as her Golden Buzzer act — kicked off by telling them she’d been where they were and knew what it felt like to make a mistake.

“What you’ve done, what you’ve accomplished together on this show, far outweighs the little mistakes you just made there.

“I promise you this, you’re going to inspire so many other kids to get out there and do what they want and fight because the music industry is tough, and I’m telling you now, this is just the beginning.”

Amanda was emotional after their performance, saying the mistake shows how passionate they were, which is what they all need now, along with “authenticity and joy and truth” that they brought into their performance.

Simon then told them he thought it was their best performance yet and told them not to worry about a mistake – even spelling a naughty word so that his son Eric might not understand what it was.

“Who gives a — sorry Eric — shit if you forget lyrics? Most importantly, it reminded me how much this means to you. Second, it reminded me of your friendship, and third, the song had a really good hook in it .”

He then told them, “Don’t worry about what happened, because it happens all the time”, and told them he does it all the time and gets accused of forgetting something after every show.

David Walliams said something like this event would “just make people love you more”.

The viewers really felt sorry for the duo, although the general opinion was that they did a great job.
