“The new 4K restoration has been completed with both the original camera negatives and the protective RGB separation master positives for the best possible image, and high dynamic range color correction for the latest image rendering technology. The audio was primarily from a 1995 protection copy of the Original Magnetic Mono soundtrack. The image and audio restoration was completed by Warner Bros. Post Production Creative Services: Motion Picture Imaging and Post Production Sound.”
Extras include the earlier audio commentary by George Stevens Jr., writer Ivan Moffat and critic Stephen Farber. You can see the cover artwork at the top left and also below.
Paramount also just set Adam and Aaron Nee’s The Lost City for release on Blu-ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD on 7/26, with the digital release expected tomorrow (5/10). There’s no word on A/V specs yet, but special features include deleted scenes, bloopers, and 7 behind-the-scenes featurettes (including Dynamic duo† Location profile† jungle rescue† the jumpsuit† Charcuterie† The villains of the lost cityand Building the Lost City† Again, you can see the cover image below.
Meanwhile, Lionsgate’s The unbearable weight of enormous talent is now available for pre-order Blu-ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD on Amazon with a 21/6 street date. We learned that the 4K will offer Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include deleted scenes, audio commentary, the SXSW Film Festival Q&A, and 6 featurettes (the mind† Shine of a bygone cage† Everyone has a Javi . necessary† Nick, Nicky and Sergio† Second act actionand Cages 5 and up† You can view the cover image below.

Keep in mind that those last two titles haven’t been officially announced yet, but we expect studio press releases to come out every day.
Also not yet announced (but confirmed by retail sources) are those of Michael Bay Ambulance in Blu-ray, DVD and 4K UHD on June 14 from Universal, and the DreamWorks animated title the bad guys on all formats on 6/21.

I’d say there’s a good chance that Spider-Man: No Way Home on Blu-ray 3D (along with regular Blu-ray and 4K in Australia). Fingers crossed.
