With another Thanksgiving on the books, can we all agree that turkey is a third-rate holiday food?
Okay, good talk.
We can agree on this too: Now that we’re in Week 13, it’s basically do-or-die time for squads that once topped the Super Bowl odds (we’re looking at you, Green Bay).
And there’s one more point we can all agree on: now would be a great time to earn some extra holiday cash.

Packers Bee Bears (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)
The packers are 4-7. Just sit there for a while.
And the team struggles on both sides of the ball. Out of all 32 teams, the Green Bay defense offers opponents the second most rushing yards per game, and the offense ranks 23rd in points scored per game.
But even with all that, we support the pack against the bears.
Bears quarterback health Justin Fields – the most explosive piece of the Chicago attack – is still uncertain. And without Fields in the lineup, the Bears don’t stand a chance against an angry one Aaron Rogers.
Rodgers is 21-7 against the spread (ATS) and 23-5 straight up (SU) as a career starter against the Bears. So whether a battered Aaron fits, or even if Jordan “Lying in Wait” Love beginsexpect the pack to bounce back in week 13.
Packers by 6 points
jets Bee Vikings (1 p.m. ET Sunday, CBS)
The Jets flew high on backup quarterback strength from Mike White arm as they got the W over the Bears in Week 12. White went 22-of-28, racking up 315 passing yards and throwing for three touchdowns. In other words, former QB1 Zak Wilson might as well get comfortable holding the clipboard.
While it’s always fun to follow a Cinderella story like Mike’s, it is Kirk Cousins & Co. who get the princely victory in this matchup.
The Vikings are in last place in passing on defense, but they make up for that shortcoming on offense. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been red hot with its 1,232 receiving yards this year. For 12 weeks they are 9-2 SU and 5-5-1 ATS.
Don’t underestimate the 7-4 Jets though. New York ranks fourth in scoring defense and has gone 4-1 in road games. So look for Gang Green to keep it closer than the three points they get from the Vikes at FOX Bet.
Vikings with 1 to 2 points difference
Jaguars Bee Lions (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)
Duval certainly has the momentum to come into this game after being upset Lamar Jackson and the Ravens 28-27 in Week 12. Who saw That will there be one?
But you also have to watch out for the Lions and their sneaky back doors. They are 7-4 ATS this season. Win or lose, one thing Detroit will do is keep it interesting for 60 minutes.
Both squads are in the bottom third when it comes to points allowed per game, but both are in the top 10 in rushing yards.
The big tying game in this game is the quarterback’s play, and Big D gets the veteran’s advantage Jared Goff in charge.
Goff’s 2,682 passing yards and 17 touchdowns are both tied for ninth in the NFL. For as much grief as Goff gets, he’s not That bad – at least not on paper.
Bee FOX betare the lions 1.5 point favourites. We want them to win right away and cover the spread.
Lions by 6 points
Commanders Bee Giants (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)
Our heart says Washington, our head says New York, and FOX bet says commanders -1.5.
Taylor Henicke pass to superstar wideout Terry McLaurin has been magical for the commanders. But the Giants also created some magic by running back Saquon Barkley. His 992 rushing yards and seven TDs have been the clutch for the G-Men.
Washington has won six of the last seven. Ever since Heinicke took the reins Carson Wentz, he has gone 5-1 SU as the commanders starting QB. However, the G-Men have lost three of their last five, QB daniel jones has been sacked 33 times this season and the Giants’ 6.7 penalty kicks per game ranks 27th.
Jones is also 8-9 ATS and 7-10 SU as a starter when he is an underdog at home.
Perhaps it is ultimately our heads that lead us to lean toward Washington in this one.
Commanders with 4 to 5 points difference
Titans Bee Eagles (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)
It’s an Eagles world and we all just live in it.
Philly runs back Miles Sanders rushed 800 yards this year, wide receiver A. J. Brown has 831 receiving yards and QB Jalen hurts has thrown for 17 touchdowns. The Eagles do almost everything right offensively, hence the 10-1 record.
But we can’t condone the Titans just because they dropped four games. Sure, they have a few blemishes on their record, but they do Dirk Hendrik carry the rock.
Henry’s 247 rushing attempts rank first in the league, his 1,048 rushing yards rank second, and the running back’s 10 touchdowns rank third. He is virtually unstoppable.
But Philly has the second best defense, allowing opponents to play just 304.4 yards per game. So we have the Eagles’ solid defense against a Titans team with Henry’s explosiveness.
A tough place, but we still like the Eagles to fly in Week 13.
Eagles by 3 points
Dolphins Bee 49ers (4:05 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)
Two squads at the top of their divisions and ready for playoff runs. This matchup might just be our favorite from the Week 13 slate.
The Niners have the best defense in the NFL. Miami has one of the top-scoring offenses in the league. San Francisco has The Bo and Christian Macaffrey. The dolphins have Tyreek.
Jimmy G & Co are 3.5 point favourites and on a four-game winning streak. And when you really break it down, San Francisco is the most versatile team Miami has faced since its Week 6 loss, 24-16 to the Vikings.
But on top of that, this is the homecoming of Miami head coach Mike McDaniel. Before going to South Beach, Mike Mac was on the Niners coaching staff for five years. Also on that Dolphins team are two former Niners running backs – Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson.
A controversial family reunion in the bay?
However, one stat that stands out to us is Jimmy G’s record for being a home favorite as a starter. In that category, Garoppolo is 13-8 SU. So we support the Niners in a tight squeeze.
Negroes with 1 to 2 points difference
