Emirates News Agency – Sharjah Charity delegation completes charity campaign in Kenya

Sharjah, June 12 / WAM / The delegation of the Sharjah Charity Association concluded its visit to the Republic of Kenya after a working trip that witnessed the implementation of many charitable projects and the completion of the important humanitarian projects carried out within the work of the International-level association, which organized the “collective wedding” project, which came with the support of a benefactor of the Sent Wind program and contributed to the wedding of 50 newlywed couples in the Kenyan village of Lamu.

The delegation led by Ali Muhammad Al-Rashidi also inspected health care projects, where the campaign to fight blindness among the population was launched and restored light to 100 patients.

The visit program included the distribution of food to needy families in the form of 500 baskets under the “Feeding Food” project, to provide the members of those families with basic necessities for a decent life, in addition to implementing the project for productive families and launching a medical camp that provided a large package of free initial examinations and the distribution of medical devices and wheelchairs for people with disabilities, as well as a project to support needy productive families.

The total number of charitable projects carried out by the Association in the Republic of Kenya is 989 projects carried out in recent years.
