Emirates News Agency – Research and education collaboration between Emirates University and Prince Muhammad bin Fahd, Saudi Arabia

Al Ain, November 8, WAM, the University of the United Arab Emirates discussed ways for future research and educational collaboration with Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University in Al-Khobar, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
This came during the visit of Dr. Ahmed Ali Murad – Associate Vice-Deputy for Scientific Research at the University of the United Arab Emirates to realize the research and education strategy of the University of the United Arab Emirates, which aims to build partnerships that will enhance the international reputation of the University.
Dr. Ahmed Ali Murad explained that the Gulf and regional cooperation are among the top priorities of the University of the United Arab Emirates to improve teaching and research outcomes, in addition to identifying best practices, contributing to providing innovative and creative solutions to the problems of the region, and in realizing the university’s vision of being a research university focused on the inclusiveness of education and the realization of national strategies, visions and future aspirations.
Dr. Ahmed Murad emphasized that the university attaches great importance to teaching and research partnerships within the education system to strengthen the regional and international status of the university, contributing to achieving sustainability in research output. He added that we are also working through these partnerships to identify joint opportunities, which will be a key focus for advancing our research and innovation.
Dr. Faisal Al-Enezi, Vice President of Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University for Academic Affairs, received Dr. Ahmed Murad, Associate Vice-Deputy for Scientific Research at UAEU, where they discussed ways of joint collaboration between the two academic institutions to identify strategic priorities for effective collaboration. A number of collaborative initiatives were discussed, including the joint research funding program between the two universities and the program for empowering student research by promoting scientific research that serves the goals of sustainable development.
Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University gave an introductory overview of the university, the university’s academic programs and preparatory program.
Dr. Ahmed Murad visited Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University facilities, including teaching and research laboratories, including the robotics lab, cybersecurity lab, contested courtroom, university library, in addition to the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Center for Foresight Studies.
