The field hospital set up by the United Arab Emirates in the earthquake-affected areas in Afghanistan has been commissioned after it supplied medical equipment, equipment and supplies, as well as medicines and specialized medical personnel.

His Excellency Issa Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan, said: “The establishment of the Emirati Field Hospital is part of the UAE’s humanitarian efforts to address challenges and provide assistance related to rapid medical intervention and life-saving medicines in the hard-to-reach areas most affected by the earthquake.”
It is noteworthy that the UAE diversified its emergency assistance to the earthquake victims as it included a variety of food and medical assistance, as part of its willingness to participate effectively in international efforts to mitigate the effects of the earthquake affecting some areas hit to soften in Afghanistan.
