A day after the jury began deliberating in the libel case between actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, billionaire Elon Musk on Saturday called the Hollywood stars “incredible,” hoping they would move on.
Musk, who reportedly dated the actress when she was still married to Mr. Depp, tweeted, “Hope they both move on. They’re both incredible at their best.”
I hope they both move on. Each and every one of them is incredible at their best.

This comes after Mr. Depp was confronted in court on Wednesday with a text he sent to his former talent agent Christian Carinno discussing the alleged affair between Ms. Heard and the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.
“Come and see me face to face…I’ll show him things he’s never seen before…”, the actor said in the text message read before the jury on Wednesday.
Ms Heard, who was married to Mr Depp from 2015 to 2017, was given a restraining order against him in May 2016 for domestic violence.
Depp, 56, filed a lawsuit against Ms Heard over an op-ed she wrote for a US daily newspaper in December 2018, in which she described herself as a “public figure who represents domestic violence.”
Depp is demanding $50 million in damages from his ex-wife.
The actor said he had taken legal action because he had to address “what I have been reluctantly carrying on my back for six years”.
Heard, 36, filed a counterclaim for $100 million, alleging that she had suffered “rampant physical assault and abuse” at his hands.
Lawyers for both sides withdrew their closing arguments Friday after six weeks of scorching mutual allegations of domestic violence between the couple.
Both sides have sought damages from their Hollywood careers.
Dozens of witnesses testified at the trial, including bodyguards, Hollywood executives, agents, entertainment industry experts, psychiatrists, doctors, friends and relatives.
