1 dead in classic car accident

A man is dead after a classic car crash in Langley, BC

RCMP says the crash happened just after 4 p.m. Friday at the Grade Crescent 20700 block in Langley City.

The two vehicles involved were a 1932 Dodge Caravan and a 1932 Ford Roadster.

The driver of the Roadster, a 49-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

“The very early investigation suggests that the Roadster suddenly veered and collided with the caravan. It is believed that the deceased had a medical event,” said Cpl. Holly Largy of the Langley RCMP.

“The driver of the Caravan was largely uninjured, but extremely affected by a shock.”

Police are asking anyone with information to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
