Florida Governor Ron DeSantis pledged to fight back against the recent move by the Biden administration to create a “Disinformation Governance Board” to fight internet “disinformation” ahead of the November midterm elections.

“Obviously, our entire principles that the country is founded on you cannot have a Department of Truth in this country,” the Florida Republican said at a news conference Friday. “So let’s get real here, let’s make sure we’re doing things that benefit Floridians and Americans, but we’re not going to let Biden get away with this.”
