It comes after Charli revealed she was considered “hard to work with” when in reality she just knows what she wants as an artist.

Speaking to Dua Lipa on her At Your Service podcast, the Boys hitmaker spoke about the realities of working in the music industry.

She told her famous friend: ‘I’ve been in different ways, this kind of difficult, very headstrong person, who was sometimes considered difficult to work with, sometimes regarded as someone who just knew what they wanted’.

“I’ve been a chameleon that people sometimes had a hard time locating.”

Charli later compared notes to Dua, 27, on touring and said long stretches of road are “cruel.”

Say: ‘I like it’ [touring] takes its toll on my sanity. I have this good place to really love it and enjoy it and feel so good for about six weeks. After six weeks I’m like, I need freedom.”

She went on to admit that now that she’s dancing in her shows, she can no longer be the wild kid she once was.

She said, ‘I used to party, I just can’t, I just can’t’.

‘Physically I can’t. When I’m so tired, it’s hard to be creative in the free hours I have, because honestly, I just have to lie down and watch House of Dragon or whatever.”
