One of London’s most beloved dance music festivals returns this month after a two-year delay due to the Covid 19 lockdown.

Junction 2 Festival now takes place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June and hosts a range of artists from across the electronic spectrum.

Over 55 acts perform at Trent Park all weekend: Saturday has a more eclectic lineup, while Sunday is a more techno-influenced bill.

New additions to the landmark lineup include Maribou State DJ, George FitzGerald Live, Mount Kimbie, Romy, TSHA, Ela Minus Live, Max Cooper Live, Ben Böhmer Live and Theo Nasa.

They join previously announced artists including Jon Hopkins, Avalon Emerson, Chaos in the CBD, Four Tet, Zenker Brothers, Adam Beyer, Omar and more with Maceo Plex on both days.

Will Harold, founder of Junction 2, said: “It’s been quite a journey through COVID 19, to get through that and find out that Boston Manor Park won’t be available to us in 2022 was a real blow.

“We are so disappointed as a team, but at the same time we are honored by the sheer number of people who have patiently waited to see this epic lineup.

“So the show must go on, and we are committed to bringing this festival into the true J2 spirit to repay your support and loyalty.

“We have worked in Trent Park many times before so we know the space, the strengths and crucially we can achieve great sound.

“After waiting for so long, I’m excited to get back to doing what Junction 2 does best.”
