Britney Spears, Sam Asghari wedding: Ex Jason Alexander livestreams gatecrash

Britney Spears’ first husband has been arrested after allegedly breaking into her home during a live stream.

Bizarre scenes have played out on social media today as Britney Spears’ first husband broke into her home and wedding venue on her wedding day – and live streamed his actions to shocked fans.

Jason Alexander, who briefly married Britney in 2004 after an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas, entered her property today and managed to get into her home, where he livestreamed to dozens of concerned fans.

“Someone has already called the police,” wrote one follower who tuned in to the live stream.

“I’m so scared,” said another.

Alexander was heard arguing with an employee who repeatedly ordered him to leave. “Don’t put your hands on me – where’s Britney?” asked Alexander.

Finally, Alexander made his way to the venue set up for Spears’ wedding to his fiancée Sam Asghari, which was to take place today.

Alexander was eventually apprehended by police and photographed being tackled to the ground by a law enforcement officer.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department has been confirmed to have responded to a burglary report at Spears’ home.

Jason Alexander is handcuffed, taken into custody and arrested. I thank the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt response and good work,” Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, told Page Six exclusively.

“I am working closely with law enforcement to ensure that Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” added the former federal prosecutor.

Alexander’s History of Lurking Outside of Family Homes

Alexander was a former childhood friend of Spears’ when he and the pop star married in 2004 over a wild weekend in Las Vegas. They stopped just 55 hours later.

Although Alexander showed public support for Spears during her controversial conservatorship battle — notably attending several #FreeBritney rallies — he has an alarming history of lurking outside the homes of the singer’s family.

Spears’ relatives were “disturbed” after learning that Alexander was visiting their homes unannounced in January, a source told Page Six exclusively at the time.

“They find it incredibly inappropriate and downright weird,” the source told us.

“It’s bad enough that the family has to deal with fans getting too close for comfort, but they would like to think they can expect more from Jason, who still claims to have so much love and respect for Britney,” added the source to it.

Alexander appeared at Britney’s mother Lynne Spears’ Serenity estate in Kentwood, La., and posted two videos and a photo of the exterior to his private Instagram account.

“Daddy Spears is hiding behind gates @britneyspears,” he captioned the post, referring to Britney’s estranged father and former curator, Jamie Spears, who has been separated from Lynne, 66, since 2002 and now lives in a campervan near Serenity.

At the time, Alexander revealed plans to visit Britney’s childhood home, which Jamie, 69, sold for $275,000 in February 2021, as well as the motor home in which Britney’s uncle Willie Spears lives. It remains unclear whether he ever did.

Alexander was previously arrested for violating a protection order and stalking an unidentified woman in December 2021. He pleaded guilty to the charges on January 4 and was sentenced to nearly a year’s probation.

It was Alexander’s third arrest in 13 months. He was arrested by police in January 2021 for drink-driving and violating safety protocols at an airport in August.

Britney’s wedding day

The shocking home invasion comes when Britney Spears and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, are reported to tie the knot within hours.

The couple will wed in an intimate ceremony surrounded by about 100 people made up of friends and family, according to a new report from TMZ.

The outlet reported that Spears’ brother, Bryan, will be attending, but her parents and sister Jamie Lynn have not received invitations after their argument over her conservatorship battle.

Sources told TMZ it’s not yet known who the pop star, 40, will walk down the aisle with as details are still being worked out.

Page Six also reports that Britney’s two sons with ex Kevin Federline, Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, will not be attending.

The boys will not be attending the wedding,” Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told Page Six.

“They feel the focus for the day should be on Britney and Sam, and they are very happy that she is moving forward.”

Prior to the wedding, Spears shared a video of her and Asghari, 28, driving a Rolls-Royce showing off what appeared to be a bridal-themed manicure and glasses of champagne, Page Six reports.

In November, Spears revealed that Donatella Versace would design her wedding dress.

The personal trainer proposed to the “Crossroads” star at her home in September after about five years of dating.

Spears and Asghari first formed a romantic bond after meeting in 2016 on the set of the singer’s music video “Slumber Party”.

It took nearly “five months” to reconnect after her video recording, Spears said in a radio interview in 2017.

“I thought, ‘He was really cute, this guy was really cute,’ so I called him,” Spears recalled of digging up his phone number. “He’s just a really nice, funny person.”

“It was the humility that attracted me,” he said in a GQ interview in June.

“She was very humble and she had a beautiful soul.”

Despite taking a lot of luxury vacations recently, the couple experienced a loss when Spears announced she’d had a miscarriage.

“It is with our deepest sadness that we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the statement read. “This is a devastating time for any parent.”
