ANU in ‘landland Canberra’ now ‘weighing in’ on marine biology

Sky News presenter James Morrow says the Australian National University in “landlocked Canberra” is now “weighing in” on the topic of marine biology.

Mr Morrow’s comments follow the publication of an ANU article stating that “major change is needed to address the lack of gender equality in marine science”.

“They said the big problem with marine biology is… it’s not gender diverse enough,” said Mr. morrow.

“There’s a glass ceiling that, maybe it’s a glass bottom boat, opposing women in science and apparently we won’t save the planet if we don’t have enough women in marine biology,” he said.
