Jane Carter tells TMZ… the family’s wish is for everything from his estate — whose probate papers have a $550,000 worth of real estate and personal property — to go to the 1-year-old Princebecause they want to make sure that the child is taken care of as it grows up.
As we previously reported, that’s how things would work out legally anyway, given that Aaron was unmarried and died without a will.
Jane says this isn’t going to be a nasty legal situation… notes that she thinks Aaron would have wanted everything to go to his son, and the family doesn’t need the money anyway.
Jane says she and Aaron’s siblings still haven’t met Prince, the mother of Aaron’s ex-fiancée, Melanie, currently has custody. However, she adds that the fam would really like to have a relationship with Prince and Melanie.
For those who don’t know, Aaron’s twin sister Angel petitioned this week to serve as trustee of Aaron’s estate, and Jane tells us she asked Angel to take on that role.
By the way, says Jane Aaron had reached out to his brother Nick in the weeks before are dead … ask to make amends. Unfortunately, Nick was on tour in Europe, but she says he would contact Aaron as soon as he got back to the States. Unfortunately, that never happened.
